The first weekend of the Rio winter will be a decisive weekend for the youth teams of the red-and-black team. Playing at home due to their better records than their opponents, the Junior (U-20), Juvenil (U-17), and Infantil (U-15) teams will play the single, decisive semifinal matches of their respective state championships at Gávea Stadium. All matches will be open to the public, and the Garotos do Ninho will play for a draw to advance to the final in all categories. See below for a summary of each match:

With the best campaign by far in the overall standings, with 49 points and a record of 15 wins, 4 draws, and only 3 losses, with 60 goals for and 21 against, the "Garotos do Ninho" are undefeated in 14 games this season and also had the best campaign in their group in the Taça Rio, the second round of the State Championship. Therefore, they play the semifinal in Gávea this Saturday (June 24.06) at 10 am against Fluminense, second place in the other group, with the advantage of a draw to advance to the final of the round. Regardless of the result, the "Mais Querido" has already qualified for the overall semifinal of the championship with the best campaign and will have an advantage until the final. Vasco and Nova Iguaçu face off in the other semifinal of the Taça Rio.

In 13 rounds, the team remains undefeated in the competition. A near-perfect record of 11 wins and only 2 draws, with 48 goals for and 11 against (37 positive goal difference), comfortably gave the Rubro-Negro the sole lead in the Guanabara Cup qualifying round. They will play both the semifinals (a one-off match against Fluminense, also this Saturday, at 15 p.m., in Gávea, playing for a draw) and the final, if they qualify, at home, which will be played in two-legged matches. The champion of the first round already qualifies for the general state semifinals, which will be played only after the conclusion of the Rio Cup. Vasco and Botafogo face off in the other Guanabara Cup semifinal.

A record of 11 wins, 1 draw, and only 1 loss, with 47 goals for and 6 against (a positive goal difference of 41), gave the Rubro-Negro second place overall and the advantage of playing the semifinal at home against Vasco, this Sunday (June 25.06) at 10 am, with the advantage of a draw to advance to the final of the first half. Fluminense and Nova Iguaçu face off in the other semifinal of the Guanabara Cup.
