Flamengo's Futsal is a success in the youth categories
The Boys from Gávea reached all the finals of the Gold Series and the Special Gold Series.

Flamengo's young talents have been achieving good results in recent weeks, from U-07 to U-13. In the Campeonato Carioca Série Ouro, Saturday (27/02), the Meninos da Gávea won the title in the U-09 and U-13 categories.
The U-09 team defeated Madureira 6-0. The U-13 team also won the competition, defeating Securitarios 3-0. The U-11 team finished runner-up. All finals were played at the Renan Togo Gymnasium.
For the Campeonato Carioca Série Ouro Especial, the categories Under-7, 8, 10 and 12, qualified for the final that will be held on the 12th and 13th.
Mengão's youth team supervisor, Leandro Américo, spoke about the season and the good results of the red-black futsal:
"The season wasn't easy. The federation made a huge effort to ensure we followed the protocols. We used the Togo Renan Gymnasium, the Adílio court, and the Uri Geller court in Gávea for training, always with all health and safety precautions. The results are the result of consistent work; we've been improving semester after semester, with the full support of the club's vice president, management, and coordination. We placed all seven categories in the finals, a historic achievement. We will continue working to integrate futsal and soccer. The boys have been working to adapt to the field. We are working to contribute to their development as human beings and athletes, so they can bear fruit for Flamengo in the future," concluded Leandro.
