With a superb campaign, Flamengo's U-11 team was crowned undefeated champion of the 2024 Taça Brasil (the country's most important championship) this Saturday in Manaus. In the final, the red-and-black kids thrashed Athletico-PR, 6-0. 

It is worth mentioning that the Taça Brasil is organized by the confederation and erto the only title Flamengo had not yet won. The Crias da Gávea had the best defense and received the "Fair Play team" award.

"It was very special. From the very beginning, we knew we were on the right track. The competition week was filled with dedication, respect, and commitment! We'd like to thank the city of Manaus, the Avengers, the host team, and our futsal and youth soccer departments. They're all incredible," said Ricardo Lopes, Mengão's futsal coordinator.
