Winning both rounds, Flamengo secured the state title without needing to play any more matches against Flamengo. The team, which was split between the regional championship and the Brazilian Junior Championship, has now turned its focus to the national competition and is counting on the support of the Flamengo-Flu home match to continue in the tournament.
