Wearing the Flamengo jersey is a dream for any player. What can you say about a young player wearing the number 10, and having the greatest star in the club's history in the stands watching his team's every move? That's how young Dieguinho felt. A native of Nova Iguaçu, Dieguinho has become one of the club's standout players. He recently returned from injury after nearly three months out, and had none other than Zico as his fan this Wednesday (June 16.06).

The midfielder returned to the starting lineup in place of Saba, who was promoted to the first team, and he couldn't hide his joy at wearing the sacred mantle again. Even more so with the illustrious presence in the 'audience.'

"It's a great feeling to be representing Flamengo. Any player dreams of wearing this jersey, especially number 10. It's a huge boost to know that Zico watched the game. He's the greatest player in the club's history, and I'm thrilled to have this opportunity," he said.

Right-back Alex agrees. According to him, having the opportunity to prove himself to Galinho is a golden opportunity.

"It's a source of pride to be watched by a great player like Zico. I know the responsibility is huge, and I think the result was the most important thing," he added.

The kids will play again next weekend in a decisive classic for the competition, against Vasco.
