Ninho Boys win two futsal titles

While the U-11s beat Bradesco, the U-9s beat Fluminense

Sunday afternoon (03) was the finals for the Garotos do Ninho in futsal! Mengão's U-9 and U-11 teams won the Campeonato Carioca, in single games held at Grajaú Country Club, against Fluminense and Bradesco respectively. The U-7 and U-9 teams ended up being runners-up.

In the first decisive match of the day, at 13 pm, Mengão's U-11 team dominated Bradesco. The score was 6-1, with goals from Lucas Beda, goalkeeper Bruno Jubilado, Enzo Lima (2x) and Lucas Bastos (2x). 

Next up was the U-7s, who played a thrilling game until the very end. The score was 3-3 in regulation, sending the match into overtime. With their better campaign, a draw in extra time was all that was needed for Fluminense. The #GarotosDoNinho fought hard and managed to score a stunning goal in the second half, courtesy of Marcelinho. However, in the final second half, frustration reigned with the opposing team's goal. Welvinho and Luquinhas (2x) also scored for Mengão!

Next up, the U-13s took the court, but ended up losing 2-0. And finally, the U-9s closed out the day with a bang. In a tense match, Flamengo showed superiority from start to finish, defeating Fluminense 4-2, with an own goal and goals from Chico and Murilo (2)! Congratulations, Ninho Boys!
