On the morning of this Thursday (18), Gávea hosted two more games for Mengão's youth teams, valid for the 7th round of the Copa Rio Sub-15 and Sub-17 and our youngsters returned to Ninho with a victory and a draw. In both matches, the opponent was Nova Iguaçu.

The U-15 team opened the morning's action with a 3-1 victory, with goals from Lucca Tatsch (24'/1H), Mateus Teixeira (22'/2H) and Marcelo Portela (32/2H). With the victory, Flamengo remains undefeated in the competition, now totaling 16 points, with 5 wins, 1 draw and still one match from the 2nd round to play, which was postponed.

Soon after, it was the U-17s' turn, who showed a powerful comeback and tied the game at 2-2, after trailing 2-0. Mengão's goals were scored by Mateusinho (9'/2H) and Andrades (29'/2H). Mengão's U-17 team also maintained its unbeaten record in the championship, now with a record of 4 wins and 2 draws. Like the U-15s, they also have a match remaining, valid for the second round, which was postponed.

The next match for the Garotos do Ninho in both categories in the competition will be on the 27th, away from home against Fluminense.
