Ninho Boys compete in the 2nd Atlantic Cup in Pernambuco

The Garotos do Ninho travel this Monday (30/10) to Camaragibe, in Pernambuco, where they will compete in the 2nd Atlantic Cup, with the objective of winning another title for Mengão's youth football, which has already lifted trophies in all categories in 2023. There are 26 victories in total, currently. The competition is U-19 and Rubro-negro is in Group B with Vitória-BA, Novorizontino-SP and Clube Atlético do Porto-PE.

The team led by Leonardo Cherede debuts against Novorizontino at 10 am on Wednesday (November 01st). The second game for the Ninho Boys will be on Thursday (November 11nd) at 02 am against Clube Atlético do Porto, and the final group stage match features Flamengo and Vitória on Friday (November 11rd), also at the same time as the previous days. The top two clubs in the group advance to the Série Ouro, where they are expected to face the teams from Group D in the quarterfinals. Check out the teams selected for the competition:

According to the regulations of the 2nd Atlantic Cup, the teams eliminated in the quarterfinals will play the Silver Series, and those eliminated in the group stage will play the Bronze Series. Furthermore, all matches will be played in two 40-minute halves, and teams can make up to 9 substitutions during three stoppages. In the knockout stage, if the match remains tied, the match will be decided on penalties. In 3, Flamengo won the Silver Series after beating Retrô on penalties.
