Just after winning another title this year, Flamengo U-16 defeated Audax 4-2 in a match valid for the second round of the Guilherme Embry Tournament, this Thursday morning. Pedro Lemos, Pedrinho and David Vianna, twice, scored the goals.

The game

With changes compared to the team that defeated Internacional in the final of the Gramado Laghetto U-16 Cup, Mengão displayed its usual technical superiority. Eduardo Zuma's team opened the scoring early in the match, in the sixth minute, when defender Pedro Lemos found the net.

Audax equalized in the first half, in the 30th minute. However, Flamengo soon regained the lead. A pass from Pedro Lemos led to Pedrinho's goal. A minute later, David Vianna extended the lead after receiving an assist from Gabriel Assunção. The opponent pulled one back before halftime, but in the second half, David scored again to make it 4-2. The team's next match will be against Barra da Tijuca in the third round.
