After playing two games this Friday, Flamengo U-16 took another step forward. Competing in the International Football Tournament, on the island of Guadeloupe, in the Caribbean (French territory), the red-blacks beat Cerfa (FRA) 5-0 (group stage) and in the quarter-finals, the Grande-Terre (FRA) team 2-0. It is worth mentioning that both the team and the national team are made up of athletes from the Guadeloupe region.

The goals in the first match were scored by Douglas (2), Tiaguinho (2) and Joshua. In the second game, Giovanni, at 16, in the first half and Ramon, at 1, in the second, qualified Mais Querido for the semifinal.

Mengão's opponent in the semifinals will be US Torcy (FRA) at 9:30 a.m. (Brasília time). If they win, the team led by coach Raphael Bahia will play in the final on the same day at 21 p.m. (Brasília time).
