In the grand final of the Flamengo adidas Cup, presented by Indrive, the Garotos do Ninho ended up losing to Arsenal 3-1 on Monday morning (16), at CT George Helal. Ryan Roberto scored the only red-black goal in the game. With the result, the Mais Querido was runner-up in the competition.

The game
Just two minutes into the game, Mengão opened the scoring with a stunning goal! Ryan Roberto received the ball on the left, cut inside, and fired a shot into the corner to make it 1-0.

With the advantage, the Ninho Boys valued possession in the attacking half. Ryan Roberto would get the ball and immediately take a shot, a hallmark of the red-and-black number 11.

In the 17th minute, Arsenal leveled the score. Marley Frohock headed in a cross into the box. Werneck even got a touch on the ball before it went in: 1-1.

Flamengo continued to attack, seeking to regain the lead. In the 29th minute, Jhefinho received the ball at the edge of the box and fired a low shot. The ball went just wide of the goalkeeper's left post. With the match tightly contested, the first half ended level.

In the second half, the Ninho Boys came back valuing possession in attack. In the sixth minute, Enzo volleyed a shot from the edge of the box, but the goalkeeper made the save.

Arsenal continued to press their opponents. In the 11th minute, Matheus fired a well-placed shot, but the goalkeeper made another good save. In Arsenal's first good run of the second half, Bailey-Joseph fired a low shot that deflected off the line and into the net: 2-1.

The English scored the third goal in the 21st minute with the team's number 10, Maalik Hashi: 3-1. The Boys from the Nest searched for the goal until the end, but ended up being defeated and finished as runners-up.
