The Boys of the Nest will meet São José-RS again in the 3rd phase of the competition, at 21:30 pm, in Osasco, at the José Liberatti Municipal Stadium, with the aim of advancing to the round of 2. The team from Rio Grande do Sul was the opponent in the Rubro-Negro's debut in the competition, being beaten 1-XNUMX with goals from Petterson and Werton.

With little time to prepare after the 1-0 victory in the previous phase over Náutico-PE with a goal from Weliton, last Saturday (13), Flamengo focused on the physical recovery of the athletes, thinking about this more acute phase of the competition. Coach Raphael Bahia spoke about the invincibility in the Copinha, the team's latest adjustments, and what was passed on to the athletes as a strategy to face São José-RS later.
