To prepare the Brazilian National Team for next year's South American U-17 Championship, coach Gustavo Della Déa called up 25 players yesterday for a week of training at Granja Comary in Teresópolis. Among those selected are the "Garotos do Ninho" players, Gabriel Noga, Reinier, and Pedro Arthur. The athletes will be based at the Brazilian National Team Training Center from September 2nd to 7th.
Della Déa, Noga and Pedro Arthur, who are regulars on the team, are with the main team in China for the Evergrande Cup U17 International Championship. Undefeated in the international competition, Fla faces Palmeiras in the semifinal this Saturday (25), at 5:30 am Brasília time.
Born in 2002 like everyone on the list, Reinier is already part of the main team of Flamengo's under-20 team, which is competing in the Brazilian Championship. In the fight for qualification for the semifinals, Mengão faces Vasco next Thursday (30), at 17 pm, in Volta Redonda.
