Focused on the next match of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, the Garotos Do Ninho held another day of training in Jaguariúna. Flamengo closes the first phase of the most famous youth tournament in Brazil next Wednesday (09), at 16 pm, against the home team.

The athletes who started the match against Trindade-GO, last Sunday (06), carried out a regenerative activity in the pool with physiotherapist Dudu Calçada. The rest of the group worked on the field under the command of coach Maurício Souza and his assistant Márcio Torres.

Flamengo's chances of advancing to the next round of the 2019 São Paulo Junior Football Cup are entirely up to it. A victory against Jaguariúna will see Flamengo qualify and continue in the competition.

Left-back Michael Rangel lamented the stumble against Trindade-GO, but assured that the team is preparing well to guarantee qualification next Wednesday.

"The result of the last game wasn't what our team expected. The Copinha is an unforgiving competition, and we know we need to improve a lot for the game against Jaguariúna, which is decisive. We're also aware of the quality of our team. We're preparing hard, with total focus on victory and qualifying for the second phase of the competition."
