Ninho Boys train with an eye on the Under-20 Brazilian Championship
Category turned the key and focuses on the knockout stage of the national championship, against Athletico
By Victor andrade - inWith the best campaign in the Brasileirão Sub-20, Flamengo trained for the first time in the freezing weather, of 10 degrees, in Paraná, and returns to focus on the dispute of the quarterfinals of the competition, against Athletico, in Coritiba. The first leg takes place next Thursday (20), at 19 pm, at CAT do Caju, with broadcast by SporTV.

In the first phase of the Brasileirão U-20, Mengão qualified as leaders of Group A, with 21 points from 9 matches (7 wins and 2 draws). They scored 16 goals and conceded 11. Therefore, they face Athletico, who finished fourth in Group B with 17 points. The "Garotos do Ninho" will decide the match at home next week, on the 26th.
The Ninho Boys traveled on Monday (17), arriving in the evening in Paraná, and did the first training session in preparation for the match on Tuesday afternoon (18), at CT Bayard Osna, Coritiba. Midfielder Rayan Lucas spoke about this change of key, after the vice-championship Carioca last weekend.


"Now it's time to change gears and focus on the Brazilian Championship. The team is working hard, and expectations are high that we can play a great game and get a positive result to decide at home," said the midfielder, who also commented on the 10-degree cold during this first training session:
"It's real business (lol), it's very cold, but nothing will stop us. We're very focused and we're going together," he concluded!
