"Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined this, starting the year with the São Paulo Cup title, we won the Guanabara Cup at Nilton Santos, at Botafogo's home against them, and another title to crown inside the Maracanã with our fans at home. That's priceless," midfielder Theo celebrated.

With three matches played for Mais Querido's professional team, goalkeeper Gabriel Batista is experiencing a transition to the senior team and says he is very happy to be promoted with titles won in the youth categories.

"It's an indescribable feeling. We have to congratulate the entire team, from Vitor Gabriel to the defense. The emotion I'm feeling is a mix of things. It may be my last match in the U-20s, but I'm very happy to leave a legacy, to leave the guys winning a title for our fans. This group is a winner, and I'm sure that from now on only good things will come," said the number 1.

Playing at Maracanã is every athlete's dream, certainly a unique feeling. Winning a title at the temple of football is the pinnacle of this euphoria and a taste that the Garotos do Ninho are beginning to experience. Coach Maurício Torres also spoke about winning the 30th state U-20 title at Maracanã.

"This (the title) couldn't escape us. Flamengo in the final is different, they sell dearly, we go in to win. We had the privilege of being champions together with our fans, that's priceless," the coach added.

The Garotos do Ninho's next commitment will be a competition in Italy during the World Cup and after the World Cup in Russia, their attention will turn to the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament (OPG) and the Brazilian Championship.
