On the afternoon of last Wednesday (16.04), the Fla boys debuted with a beautiful victory in the Taça Rio, the return leg of the U-20 Carioca Championship. At the Arthur Sendas stadium, the Rubro-Negro won 3-0 against Audax. Douglas Baggio and Darlan scored for the Mais Querido, in addition to an own goal from the opponent.

"Douglas is a very good young man offensively. He still has the whole second half of the season to chase the top scorer spot, and if he doesn't make it, he'll certainly be among the top strikers in terms of goals," praised coach Marcelo Buarque.

Flamengo returns to the field for the competition next Saturday, at 10 am, to face Volta Redonda, at the Nivaldo Pereira stadium.
