He shone by saving two penalty kicks in the U-20 Libertadores final, becoming the star of the team's second title in the continent's premier youth tournament. Upon landing in Rio de Janeiro, goalkeeper Lucão spoke about the emotion of winning yet another title with his favorite team:

"Personally, it's the best moment I've ever experienced in my career. Being a two-time champion with my favorite team is a unique moment, not only for me, but for the entire team and committee. I'd also like to congratulate Kléber and Sandro on their excellent work. We're leaving here with another title, and now it's time to celebrate," said the goalkeeper.

Scorer of the red-black goal in the 1-1 draw in regulation time, striker Felipe Lima also described the emotion of scoring a goal in the Libertadores final:

"Scoring a goal in the Copa Libertadores final is an incredible feeling. Unfortunately, I had to take the field because our striker Felipe Teresa was injured, and I hope he recovers soon, as he is crucial to the group. I'm happy to have scored the goal and that we won the title on penalties."

After making history and being the first team to win the U-20 Libertadores for the second time, the Garotos do Ninho turn the key and focus on the debut of the Brasileirão in the category, when they face Athletico-PR next Friday (21), at 15 pm, at CT do Caju, for the first round of the competition.
