In the match against Duque de Caxias, held at the Gávea headquarters in the Campeonato Carioca, Flamengo created many chances, but the final score was 0-0. After three rounds of the Taça Guanabara, the "Mais Querido" remains undefeated and sits in fifth place, with two draws and one win.

Striker Douglas Baggio summed up the match well. "We had several opportunities to open the scoring, but unfortunately, it wasn't our day. Their goalkeeper was inspired, and the ball wouldn't go in. We played well, constantly looking for a goal, but it wasn't possible. Duque de Caxias barely had a shot on goal," he said.

In the fourth round of the Guanabara Cup, Flamengo will face Friburguense. The game will be held at Eduardo Guinle Stadium, in Nova Friburgo, at 14:45 pm next Wednesday (January 29.01).
