Flamengo's juniors beat Serra Macaense in the second pre-season training match

Flamengo's under-20 team defeated Serra Macaense 1-0 in a training match held on Friday afternoon (July 12.07) at the Gávea social headquarters. The winning goal was scored by striker Igor Sartori. The activity, carried out in training uniforms, was divided into two halves of 45 minutes each.
"We made the substitutions starting 15 minutes into the second half. From the first half, we found a good defensive pattern. We need to organize the offensive part as a whole a little better," said Cleber dos Santos, coach of Flamengo's under-20 team.
The team returned after vacation on July 20th. "The team has improved significantly in training. We're working on a standard of play so we can enter the competition (BH Cup) at a good level. Therefore, we've planned eight to nine friendlies to get everyone in shape," explained Cleber dos Santos.
Next Tuesday (July 16.07), players under 18 from the group will participate in a friendly match with the Brazilian U-17 team at Granja Comary, in Rio de Janeiro. Three days later, on Friday (June 19.06), the full team will face Nova Iguaçu in a training match at Gávea. Flamengo's first official competition will be the Taça BH, in August.
