Flamengo Juniors lose to América
Suffering from absences, the red-black team ended up losing 2-0 at Giulitte Coutinho.

Flamengo's Juniors team took to the field this Wednesday (30.06) against América and, away from home, lost 2-0. The red-black team is undergoing restructuring, as seven athletes were recently promoted to the professional team, including top scorer Diego Maurício.
Despite the defeat, coach Paulo Henrique expressed confidence. Flamengo is preparing to compete in the Eurofarma Junior Football Super Cup in July and is seeking reinforcements for the tournament.
"It takes time, but I'm sure we'll be able to achieve our goal," said the coach.
The championship will take place in São Paulo from July 24th to August 1st and will feature four foreign teams, two from Latin America and two from Europe. Flamengo is in Group 1, along with Palmeiras, Peñarol (Uruguay), and Porto (Portugal). The other group includes Corinthians, Santos, Sevilla (Spain), and Boca Juniors (Argentina). The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals.
