Juniors win first preseason training match

Flamengo's under-20 team defeated Audax 3-1 in a training match held on Friday morning (July 05.07th) at the Gávea social headquarters. The winning goals were scored by forwards Douglas Baggio, Pedro Martins and Eduardo. The activity, carried out in training uniforms, was divided into three 30-minute halves.
"After the first two weeks of training, the players are assimilating the information given to them well. We're seeing a great balance within the group. There's competition among the athletes to secure a starting spot," explained Santos coach Cleber.
Flamengo's under-20 team returned for the start of pre-season training on June 24th. Next Friday (July 12.07th), the boys will go to the Gávea pitch for another training match. This time, the opponent will be Serra Macaense.
