This Saturday (09.06), Flamengo's youth (Under-17) and children's (Under-15) teams took to the field against Bangu, in the sixth round of the second round of the State Championship, the Guanabara Cup. The teams performed well and won the matches, played in Gávea, safely.

 

The red-and-black youth team defeated Bangu 4-0 and remains firmly in the running with 34 points, leading their group. Renato Maceió, the match's standout player, scored three times, and Renan Donizette completed the scoring.

 

The youth team defeated their opponents 2-0, with goals from Paqueta and Matheus. The team remains undefeated in the competition, with 33 points, leading the standings.

 

The teams will play again next Saturday (16.06), against Vasco, away from home. The U-17s play at 11 am and the U-15s at 9 am.
