Good result in Gávea! This Tuesday (30), Flamengo hosted Corinthians for the second round of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship and achieved an important 2-0 victory, with goals from Lázaro.

With the result, Mais Querido has now won two matches in two, totaling six points in the Brasileirão. The next match is scheduled for Saturday (4), against Resende at Estádio do Trabalhador. The clash is valid for the Campeonato Carioca.

The game
The first half started evenly, with both sides searching for space in the opposing defense. Knowing the field better, Flamengo began to dictate the pace of the attacking plays, passing well through the middle and wings. In the 17th minute, Corinthians hesitated in their play-offs, and Lázaro received the ball at the edge of the box, sending a beautiful shot into the back of the net. Shortly after, he found the net again with a quick play, making it 2-0 at halftime.

The second half was more evenly balanced, with neither team creating much danger. Defending well, "Mais Querido" didn't face any challenges and even managed to create chances. The score, however, remained unchanged: 2-0 and another victory in the competition.

Lineup: Bruno; Marcos Felipe, Gabriel Noga, Vinicius and Caio Roque; Dhouglas, Daniel Cabral, Jean Carlos, Samuel (Gabriel Borsatto) and Lazaro (Maycon); Carlos Daniel.
