Goalkeeper Léo Nannetti —Flamengo's starting goalkeeper in the five Libertadores Sub-20 matches, which ended last Sunday— will be integrated into the Brazilian National Team delegation in the United States to train with the players called up by coach Carlo Ancelotti. Brazil will face France next Thursday (26), and Croatia on Tuesday (31), in the cities of Boston and Florida, respectively.

One of the standout players on Flamengo's under-20 team, Léo Nannetti will have the opportunity to train once again with goalkeeping coach Taffarel, an idol of the national team and one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time in Brazilian football. At 18 years old, Nannetti will train with three teammates in his position, called up by the Italian coach: Bento (Al-Nassr), Ederson (Fenerbahçe), and Hugo Souza (Corinthians).

Last September, Leo Nannetti also participated in training sessions with the Brazilian National Team at Granja Comary and received high praise from Taffarel. The Flamengo youth player didn't hide his happiness at receiving advice not only from the former goalkeeper, but also from Bento and Hugo Souza. The young prospect celebrated the learning and development he gained from training and interacting with leading figures in his position.

Flamengo's Under-20 number 1 landed in Panama City this Monday (23), after competing in the category's Libertadores, and traveled directly to the USA.

Diego Reyes

Another piece of good news for Flamengo was the call-up of midfielder Diego Reyes (pictured below, alongside Alfredo Almeida, director of the club's youth academy) to the Mexican Under-20 National Team. The 18-year-old was signed on loan from América of Mexico in early March, after the closing of the registration period for the category's Libertadores Cup.
