Flamengo's under-20 team's three-game unbeaten streak in the Taça BH ended on Wednesday afternoon (21/08). In the fourth round of the qualifying phase, Mais Querido lost to Araxá 1-0, but remains well placed in group B, in second place.
"We took to the field with a bit of a lack of concentration, but the players and coaching staff are certainly aware of the responsibility they have. In the next game, against Londrina, we'll be ready to fight for first place," said Cleber dos Santos, the club's coach.
Flamengo will play again next Friday (August 23), at 3:30 pm, at Arena do Jacaré, in Sete Lagoas, against Londrina. A victory for Cleber dos Santos' team guarantees the Rubro-Negro a place in the round of 16. Depending on the other results in the group, the team could even qualify in first place for the knockout stage.
