On the afternoon of last Wednesday (30.10/20), at the Gávea social headquarters, the under-3 team drew with América 3-2, in a game valid for the second round of the second phase of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament (OPG). The result kept Mais Querido in the lead of group E, with four points won. Mattheus and Eduardo (XNUMX) scored the red-black goals.

The first goal was scored by Eduardo, who received a cross from right-back Romario Perelli. The second was scored by Mattheus, after a good play by attacking midfielder Renan Donizete. The last goal was scored by Mattheus and finished again by center forward Eduardo.

"Overall, the team performed well throughout the match, but there were some moments of inattention, which cannot happen in this type of game. We need to be focused at all times, and when clear chances to score appear, we must take advantage of them to open up a lead and decide the match," explained coach Cleber dos Santos.

The next round will pit the club against Serra Macaense, current runner-up in group E. The match will start at 15:30 pm next Saturday (02.11), at Estádio Municipal do Frade, in Macaé.
