Lincoln scores again and Brazil beats North Korea
The Brazilian team is in first place in Group D of the U-17 World Cup.
By Francisco Freire - inNew round, same scenario. After beating Spain in the opening round, the Brazilian under-17 team beat North Korea 2-0 this Tuesday (10).
Both matches featured outstanding performances from the red-and-black center forward Lincoln. The scenario in the second round was very similar to the first: Lincoln scored Brazil's first goal, and Paulinho doubled the lead.
With these two wins, Brazil sits first in Group D with six points and needs only a draw against Niger in the third round, which takes place on the 13th, to maintain its position. The national team has already secured its spot in the next round, as it will be, at the very least, one of the best third-placed teams in the tournament.
This edition of the U-17 World Cup takes place in India and, in addition to Lincoln, the Brazilian team also has the red-and-black Wesley as the starting right-back.
