Coach Mario Jorge has released the list of 30 athletes registered for the 2023 edition of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup. With four athletes born in 2006 (16 years old), and no athletes born in 2003 (20 years old) selected for the competition, the Mais Querido squad that will fight for the fifth title of the main national youth football competition will have as its main characteristic youth, combined with great technical quality and the winning DNA of the red-black team.

"We're going with a very young, yet extremely qualified group. We began our preparation for the competition on the 5th, and I have complete confidence that these athletes will be ready to perform well and represent Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. We're going strong and very confident for the competition," said coach Mario Jorge, who will be leading the Garotos do Ninho in the Copinha for the first time.

See below the list of Flamengo's registered teams. The Most Beloved debuts on January 2nd, at 21:45 pm, against Floresta (CE). Aparecidense (GO) and XV de Jaú (SP) complete group 5, which will be held at the Zezinho Magalhães Stadium, in Jaú.
