Friday started with great news for two of the "Garotos do Ninho" (Nest Boys). Full-backs Luis Gustavo and Ramon, both from the U-20 team that will play in the Copa do Brasil final against Cruzeiro in Volta Redonda next Tuesday, were called up by coach André Jardine to the Brazilian U-18 team, which will gather for a training session at Granja Comary from May 4th to 10th.

"It's a dream come true to continue being part of a Brazilian national team squad. It's a sign that the club is doing a good job. Therefore, I thank Flamengo and the entire board and coaching staff. Without everyone's hard work and support, I wouldn't have received this call-up," said right-back Luis Gustavo, who had previously been called up to the U-17 national team.

"First, I want to thank God for always giving me strength up to this point. I also want to thank all my family, and especially my teammates, the coaching staff, and the Flamengo board, as they have all been instrumental in helping me achieve another great achievement in my career. Defending my people and my country is a great honor." "First, I want to thank God for always giving me strength up to this point.
