"The team had a wonderful campaign in the Taça BH. Few believed in Flamengo, and we managed to surprise them, reaching the final. A decision isn't played for, it's won. It's a great feeling to wear the Mais Querido jersey in this final. It's the most popular championship in the category and where everyone wants to be. Only two teams can be in the final, and Flamengo is one of them. We're here and we're going to fight for the title," said Marx.
Having provided a beautiful assist for Flamengo's second goal, captain Matheus spoke about the result. "We're coming off an exemplary campaign in the Taça BH and won with a different team. No one believed we'd reach the final, but we united the group and performed exceptionally well so far. Our expectations are high. Wearing the Flamengo jersey is very gratifying and an honor for all of us. We'll be ready for the final," said the player.
