On the morning of this Sunday (11/09), Flamengo beat Bangu in the youth category by 3 to 0 in a match valid for the second round of the Metropolitan Championship Sub-13-Troféu Zagallo, in Gávea, with goals from Bernardo, Kleber and Antonio. In the first game of the championship, which took place on Sunday (04.09/1), the youth also achieved victory over Nova Iguaçu with a score of 0 to XNUMX, thus remaining in first place in the classification with six points.
In the first half, Flamengo started under heavy pressure from the opposing attack, but managed to shake off the pressure and score the first goal of the match in the 15th minute with a header from team captain Bernardo. Immediately after the technical timeout, the game remained tight, and the team from Gávea managed to create more scoring opportunities, intimidating Bangu's defense. After the break, the red-and-black team continued to shoot more than their opponents and scored a beautiful goal with a superb shot from outside the box by number 5 Kleber, extending the lead. Antonio sealed the victory for Flamengo, also scoring his own goal right at the end of the match.
