The U-14, 15 and 16 categories had changes in technical command between the end of June and the beginning of this second semester, with the arrival of July. The aforementioned promotions of Filipe Luís to the U-20s, and Eduardo Zuma to the U-17s, opened up space for were valued days by Vinicius Durante, now in the U-16s, and Daniel Franklin, who took over the U-15s. In the U-14, Thiago de Camillis started work this Wednesday (03). 

In the U-16s, the change took place two weeks ago, and During has already begun work on preparing for the Brasil Soccer Cup in this category. Reunion also in the U-15, with the generation that won everything 

One category below, the U-15s also had a reunion. Seven-time champion with the 2009 generation last season (still with the U-14s), Daniel Franklin returns to command the generation. They were two international cups, two national cups and three regional cups lifted in 2023. The coach spoke of the feeling and thesaid that the team is preparing for a competition in Berlin, in Germany, in August, organized by Union Berlin. 

"First, I'm very happy, right? For the opportunity in the under-15 category, I'm happy to be able to reconnect with a generation we had last year, and they did an exemplary job. We hope to continue developing these athletes in the best possible way, with the Flamengo DNA. Regarding the competition in Germany, it will be a difficult tournament, as it's an under-16 competition. We're going with a younger team, but we're confident. that will be able to perform and represent Flamengo very well”, commented Daniel. 

Recruitment for the U-14 

After the recent Abano Football two-time championship trophy U-14, in Italy, the category will have a new coach. Thiago de Camillis assumes the role, after a three-year stint with Botafogo's U-20s. The new manager spoke about his arrival at Flamengo and his expectations for the competitions he will face throughout the year. 

"It's a huge honor, isn't it? Being part of a club the size of Flamengo, the biggest club in Brazil, one of the biggest in the world. Of course, it's every professional's dream to be part of this great club. O that I wait here é what every fan always expects from any professional wearing this shirt: win many titles, be able to developr assets os players and deliver them at a level better than they already were to category of up”, said Thiago, who also added: 

"A The expectation is that we will have a good second round, but that we arrive na final and get the title to arrive at great end of Metropolitan”, he added.
