In the first round of the Copa Rio Sub-15, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Fluminense on Saturday morning (26), in Gávea. The red-black goal was scored by Pablo, in the second half.

The game
The derby began with a fierce battle for possession in midfield. Flamengo managed to keep possession longer and exchange passes in the attacking half, looking for space in Fluminense's defense. The red-and-black team had a good chance of attacking down the left side of the box, especially when Bidu ran away.

The game was quite tight, with few clear-cut scoring opportunities. In the final stretch of the first half, Fluminense began to threaten Léo Nannetti's goal. In the 27th minute, Joshua took a free kick from the left and nearly caught the Tricolor goalkeeper out, who managed to put it out for a corner.

In the 32nd minute, Douglas Telles crossed into the box and David headed the ball over the crossbar. In stoppage time, Riquelme Felipe pounced on goalkeeper Léo Nannetti's rebound to open the scoring for Fluminense: 1-0.

The Ninho Boys returned for the second half, attacking the Tricolor team even more, looking for an early equalizer. In the 12th minute, Christian cleared the play on the right and took a shot from outside the box. The ball sailed over the goal.

In the 18th minute, Mengão leveled the score! Joshua took a corner kick from the left and Pablo headed it into the back of the net: 1-1. After the equalizer, the game remained open and both teams went in search of the winning goal.

The Ninho Boys pressed until the end, but the classic ended in a draw in Gávea.
