The goals of the Mais Querido were scored by Daniel Cabral (2), Lázaro (2), Thiaguinho (2), Peralta, Andre and Pedrinho. With the result, Mengão took second place in the Taça Guanabara with 12 points, achieving the third consecutive victory in the competition.

The game

Mengão started strong, opening the scoring just a minute into the match. After a steal, Weverton received the ball inside the box and shot toward goal. The rebound fell to Daniel Cabral, who fired a shot into the goalkeeper's left corner to make it 1-0.

With the advantage, Flamengo dominated the action and exchanged passes in the attacking half. It didn't take long for Flamengo to extend their lead! In the 13th minute, Peralta passed to Lázaro, who struck hard from outside the box and the ball went in: 2-0. Flamengo then added their third in the 15th minute. Ítalo crossed from the left, the goalkeeper tried to clear, and the ball fell to Thiaguinho, who only had to tap it into the back of the net: 3-0.

In the 22nd minute, Macaé pulled one back with Alexandre, after a shot from outside the box: 3-1. Flamengo continued to press Macaé and scored two more goals in a row, with Lázaro and Peralta: 5-1. There was still time for a sixth! Daniel Cabral received the ball on the right flank, cut inside and struck powerfully. The ball went into the goalkeeper's left corner: 6-1.

In the second half, the Ninho Boys continued with the same intensity and pace, creating opportunities to further extend their lead. In the 11th minute, Igor Jesus took a shot from outside the box, but the ball went just wide of the crossbar.

In the 27th minute, Mengão scored again! Wesley burst into the box at speed and rolled the ball back. Andre arrived with a first-time shot to make it 7-1. Ten minutes later, the red-and-black team scored their eighth goal! Wesley, once again, made a good run down the right and crossed for Pedrinho, who controlled it skillfully and chose the corner to extend the lead even further: 8-1.

And there was still time for a ninth! In the 44th minute, Daniel Cabral made a good run down the left, took the ball to the byline, and crossed into the six-yard box. Thiaguinho chested it into the back of the net, sealing the victory with a resounding 9-1 rout.
