In a postponed game from the first round of the Guanabara Under-15 Cup, Flamengo took no notice of their opponent and thrashed Portuguesa 7-0 on Thursday morning (26), at CEFAN. Mengão's goals were scored by Dudu (2), Lucyan, Bill (2), David and Lorran. With the result, Mais Querido took the lead in the championship with six points.

The game
The match began with Flamengo holding the ball more often in attack. The first good opportunity fell to Dudu, who received the ball inside the box and struck hard. The ball went over the goal.

The red-and-black team tried to exchange passes to break through Portuguesa's defense, but struggled with the final pass. In the 24th minute, Mengão opened the scoring! Lucyan made a good play on the right and crossed into the box for Dudu to finish into the back of the net: 1-0.

Five minutes later, Flamengo extended their lead again with Dudu. The midfielder took a shot from outside the box, and the ball gently slipped into the goalkeeper's right corner: 2-0. The Boys from the Nest went into halftime with a healthy lead.

Early in the second half, Mengão scored their third! Lucyan made a quick run into the box and beat the goalkeeper to make it 3-0. The Ninho Boys then added their fourth. After a cross from the right, Bill headed the ball into the net to make it 4-0.

Mengão was hungry for goals! Bill came in from the left, entered the box, and slotted past the goalkeeper to score Flamengo's fifth goal: 5-0. The sixth and seventh came from David and Lorran, completing the Flamengo rout at CEFAN: 7-0.

Next appointment
The Garotos do Ninho return to the field next Saturday (28) to face Madureira, at 15 pm, in Conselheiro Galvão, for the third round of the Carioca Sub-15.
