In the first game of the Copa Rio Sub-17 final, Flamengo beat Fluminense 3-2 on Saturday afternoon (17), at Vale das Laranjeiras, in Xerém. Lucyan, Felipe Teresa and João Victor, in the second half's stoppage time, scored the red-black goals. Now, Mengão will have the advantage of a draw to win the title next Saturday (24), at Gávea.

The game
In the first minute of the derby, the Ninho Boys opened the scoring. Lorran passed to Lucyan, who entered the box from the right and fired a cross-shot to score the game's first goal: 1-0.

With the advantage, Flamengo continued to dominate possession, exchanging passes in the attacking half. When Fluminense held the ball, the red-and-black team pressed to quickly recover.

In the final stretch, the tricolor team tried to get more into the attack and created some opportunities, but Rubro-Negro went into the break with the advantage.

Three minutes into the second half, the referee awarded a penalty to Fluminense. Kauã Elias took the penalty, leveling the score at 1-1. After the equalizer, both teams went in search of the winning goal, and the game became more open.

In the 27th minute, Mengão scored their second goal! Luan Andrey won the ball back on the right and crossed perfectly for Felipe Teresa to head home: 2-1. Ten minutes later, Fluminense tied the game again, this time with Velon: 2-2.

In stoppage time, the Garotos do Ninho were brave and scored the winning goal with João Victor, who, despite being down, gave the ball a little touch and it gently went into the net: 3-2. A great victory for the Garotos do Ninho away from home.

Flamengo's U-17s return to the field next Saturday (24) to face Fluminense again, at 10 am, in Gávea, for the second leg of the Copa Rio final in the category.
