Regarding the material broadcast this Sunday on the Esporte Espetacular program, on Rede Globo de Televisão, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo clarifies:

1. Two days before the tragedy that occurred on February 8th at Ninho do Urubu, one of the air conditioning units in the housing module malfunctioned. 

2. Immediately after the problem was detected, the maintenance company was called, which removed the equipment, made the necessary repairs, put the air conditioning unit to the test for more than 4 hours and released it for use.

3. The maintenance company Collman Refrigeração Ltda has been a supplier contracted by Flamengo for over 28 years, without ever having presented any problem in the provision of its services during this long contractual period.

4. Flamengo reaffirms that, in addition to providing full support to the families, its priority is to help clarify all aspects of this tragedy, the Club's biggest in its 123 years.

To this end, we spare no effort in supporting the work of the Fire Department and Police. In our view, it is they, not individuals lacking all the information necessary for a responsible analysis, who, with extensive technical knowledge, can effectively determine what happened.
