Flamengo has secured the signing of three reinforcements for the under-20 team. Center forward Josmar, defender Muñoz and left-back Ramirez signed contracts this Tuesday (3), at CT George Helal, and are already available to coach Bruno Pivetti.

The 2026 season for the under-20 category will begin with the Brazilian Championship, starting on the 22nd. Flamengo will initially play three rounds of the national competition before heading to Quito, the capital of Ecuador, where they will compete in the Under-20 Libertadores Cup. The Carioca Championship and the Rio Cup are, so far, the other competitions scheduled for this year.

Forward Josmar was born in Recife on September 22, 2008, and played for Avaí. Left-back Gustavo Rodrigues, nicknamed Ramirez, will turn 20 on March 21. A native of Juína, Mato Grosso, he played for Mirassol. The son of a Spanish father and a Brazilian mother, Ernest Muñoz, 19 years old (born December 22, 2006), was born in Barcelona and has lived in São Paulo since he was 4. The defender has dual nationality and played for Portuguesa-SP.
