With many of the starters playing for the professional team in the Campeonato Carioca, the under-20 team took the field to face Bangu last Saturday (16.03) at the Nivaldo Pereira stadium. The youngest players of the junior team did the job and won 3-1, with goals from Darlan (2) and Romário. With this result, the boys need only a draw in the final round to guarantee a spot in the semifinals of the Taça Guanabara.

 

Flamengo's under-20 team moved to second place in the championship table, with 28 points, with one round remaining in the qualifying phase. Flamengo's next opponent will be Cabofriense, next Saturday (22.03), at 13:30 pm.
