Marcos Biasotto is from Jundiaí, São Paulo, with a degree in physical education and a postgraduate degree in psychosociology of human motor function. He has played for several clubs throughout Brazil and is a former professional soccer player. He joined Flamengo in January 2013 as general coordinator of the youth teams. Biasotto designed the CIM FLA project and has worked in this area as intelligence and market manager since July 2014, when the department was implemented.
"After a year at Flamengo as general coordinator of the youth teams, I was invited and given full autonomy to implement and structure the Intelligence and Market Center at the club. With the entire project ready, I was able to implement the technological investment, systems implementation, and professional hiring," he said.
The creation of CIM FLA is a new knowledge proposal, based on the constant search for new talent and mapping of the best soccer players in Brazil and abroad, with critical in-depth technical market and financial analysis. The team provides a secure database for hiring athletes through information and market observation history, whether on-site visit or stored by advanced software. CIM FLA also monitors and tracks Flamengo players who are loaned to other clubs.
At Mais Querido's base, CIM FLA maps all games in the Infantil, Juvenile, and Junior categories, which are filmed and analyzed. This mapping is used by the technical team to study and monitor the evolution of the categories. Understand CIM FLA's areas of operation:
