The Brazilian national team is already in Chile for the U-20 World Cup. The team led by coach Ramon Menezes, which features Flamengo defenders João Victor and Iago, will debut against Mexico next Sunday (28), at 21 pm, at Nacional de Santiago, in the Chilean capital. Alfredo Almeida and Ricardo Perlingeiro, respectively, director and manager of scouting/marketing for Flamengo's youth teams, accompanied the athletes' last activity on Brazilian soil, held last Tuesday (23).

In addition to those called up João Victor and Iago, defender Carbone, midfielder Pablo and striker Pedro Leão, athletes from Mengão, were called up to participate in the Brazilian national team's training at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis. The three athletes have already been reinstated to the red-black squad in training this Wednesday (24), at CT George Helal.

At the invitation of the CBF, Alfredo and Ricardo met with directors and members of the senior national team's coaching staff. In attendance were Rodrigo Caetano, general executive coordinator of the men's national teams; Cícero Souza, manager; Juan Santos, technical coordinator; Thomaz Araújo, performance analyst; and Cristiano Nunes, physical trainer; as well as Taffarel, CBF goalkeeper preparation coordinator; who participated in the entire U-20 team training camp at Granja Comary.
