Despite being represented by an alternate team made up of U-18 athletes, Flamengo has been performing well in the Terborg Tournament in the Netherlands, an U-20 competition. After three group stage matches of the international competition, the "Garotos do Ninho" remain undefeated and qualified in first place in Group "Van Egmond" with a solid campaign.

In the debut, in a duel held on Friday afternoon (31), Mais Querido faced Vitesse, from the Netherlands. With a very solid defensive performance, Rubro-Negro defeated the Dutch 1-0, with a goal from Sidney, and started the tournament on the right foot. This Saturday (01), there were two more games. In the morning, a 0-0 draw against Tottenham (ING), a result that guaranteed the qualification of the Garotos do Ninho for the semifinal of the competition in advance.

In the afternoon, Flamengo returned to the field and defeated Ajax Cape Town, from South Africa, 2-1 (Gabriel Kazu and Yuri de Oliveira), a result that guaranteed the red-black team the top spot in the group with seven points won, ahead of Tottenham, who added five points.

After winning the U-12 (Ibercup) and U-16 (Dubai International Championship and Verona Tournament), Mais Querido remains firm in the fight for the fourth international title of the 2019 season this Sunday (2), when it faces Palmeiras, in a national classic valid for the semifinal of the tournament. The duel takes place at 6:30 am, Brasília time. Whoever passes, faces in the final the winner of FC Midtjyllan (DIN) and Tottenham (ING), who dispute the other semifinal.
