Next Wednesday (October 23.10), at 15:30 pm, in Gávea, Flamengo's under-20 team will play its last game, against Mesquita, in the first phase of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament. The Mais Querido's situation is comfortable. If they win or draw, they will advance to the next phase as first in group B. If they lose, they will only be eliminated if Madureira beats Duque de Caxias and makes up a seven-goal difference, which separates them from Rubro-Negro.

"This Monday (21.10), we did the first training session thinking specifically about this match against Mesquita. I transmitted a lot of seriousness to the players, because that's how they should approach the match. Even though qualification is very close, we need to play a good game, very focused, to be able to qualify for the second phase with a good technical index", said Cleber dos Santos, Flamengo's coach.

In the second phase of the OPG Tournament, the eight finalists will be divided into two groups, each with four players. If they beat Mesquita, Flamengo will likely advance with the second-best technical index.

After the end of the second phase, the champions of each group will face each other in the competition's final.
