Next Wednesday (22.01), the Mais Querido under-20 football team will be looking for its second victory in the state championship of the category, against Volta Redonda, at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, at 19:30 pm. The match will be a preliminary to the professional team's game, against the same opponent, also for Carioca.

 

After a comeback victory over Audax in their debut, even without their key players, the team demonstrated the strength of their squad. Cleber dos Santos has already returned to Rio and led a training session with the youngsters on Tuesday afternoon (January 21.01), who were previously under the supervision of assistant coach Marcio Torres.

 

"Now for the game against Volta Redonda, the team will have the boys who were in the Copa São Paulo back in the squad. We entered the Carioca with the goal of winning the title, we have the group for that," said Vinicius Barroso, supervisor of the club's youth teams.
