The Brazilian U-20 team is in contention for another international title. With three Flamengo players called up by coach Rogério Lourenço, also a Flamengo fan, Brazil debuted with a victory at the Punta del Este International Tournament in Uruguay last Thursday. Flamengo striker Diego Maurício was the star of the show, scoring a goal and providing an assist in the 2-0 victory over Chile. If they repeat this strong result this Sunday night at 22 pm against Uruguay, the Brazilian team will secure a spot in the final of the competition.

"I'm very happy with the opportunity. I enjoyed the first match, the team played well, we still need a little bit of chemistry to perform better, but the team played well and we're confident for this game against Uruguay. We know it won't be easy, but we'll fight for this spot in the final and the title," said left-back Jorbison.

The hexagonal's grand final takes place next Tuesday, also at 22 p.m. After concluding their participation in the national team, the red-and-blacks will once again don the Sacred Mantle. Right-back Rafael Galhardo and forward Diego Maurício will be integrated into the youth squad competing in the 41st edition of the São Paulo Junior Cup. Jorbison is expected to return to the professional squad.
