Brazil defeated Chile 2-0 in their tournament debut, thanks to a goal from Diego Maurício, and then drew with Uruguay to secure their spot in the final. The competition followed the following format: six teams were divided into two groups of three teams each. The top teams advanced to Tuesday's final. For right-back Rafael Galhardo, the competition was very rewarding, and he hopes to leave a positive impression, culminating in a strong performance in the final.

Jorbison, on the other hand, is expected to join the senior squad upon his departure from Uruguay.
