With two big wins, the Flamengo Under-13 (coached by Leonam Kasali) and Under-14 (coached by Leonardo Cherede) teams beat Bangu, in matches played on Saturday morning (20), at CFZ, and valid for the third round of the Taça Rio of the Metropolitan Championship, the State Championship of the categories. The victories keep both teams with 100% success in the return of the Metropolitan Championship (Taça Rio). The Under-13s have four wins in four matches played, and the Under-14s have one game less, due to the dispute of the Copa Brasileirinho Internacional. In the next round, Mais Querido faces Vasco in both categories, in duels with the opponent's home field, but still without date, time and place defined.

Opening the training sessions at CFZ, the Under-13 team took to the field and completely dominated their opponent. Playing at a training pace, the "Garotos do Ninho" (Flamengo's youth team) delivered a stellar performance, with four goals from Matheus Martins and three from Lucas Santos, the top scorer in the Metropolitano tournament, they thrashed Bangu by an incredible 10-0. Rayan Souza, Enzo, and Gustavo Paje completed the rout.

Next, the Under-14 team faced the same opponent and maintained the same rhythm. In the end, the emblematic 7-1 score was achieved without difficulty, with five goals from the competition's top scorer João Delfino, one from Átila, and another from Gustavo Soares.
