U-13 and U-14 win big at Metropolitano
Rubro-Negro is the leader in both categories
By John Pedro Ribeiro* - inOn Sunday afternoon (18), Flamengo's under-13 and under-14 football teams ignored their opponents and thrashed Metropolitano. The youngest boys defeated União with a resounding 17-0 victory, the biggest win in the two rounds of the tournament, in Gávea, and remained in the lead with nine points. The older boys beat the under-14 team of the same opponent 4-1 and also lead group A of the Taça Rio with nine points.
Mais Querido's next commitment in the under-13s will be Sunday (25), against América/Barra, at 9 am, again in Gávea, for the fourth round. The under-14s play on the same day and location, also against América/Barra, at 10:30 am.
