Following up on their excellent performance in the group stage, Flamengo's Under-13 and Under-15 categories maintained their high level of concentration and technical and tactical quality in the two semi-finals of the Aldeia Cup 2019, played this Friday (13) at CT do Retrô, in Camarangibe, Pernambuco, they defeated the dangerous Bahia and will compete, on Saturday morning (14) in the finals of the competition in both categories, potentially further increasing the record of titles in the history of Flamengo's youth football in a single season.

In the semifinal matches, the U-13 team, led by coach Leonam Kasali, took the field first. With another consistent and confident performance, the Mais Querido defeated the strong Bahia 2-0 (Bill and David), achieving their fourth victory in four matches played in the competition, saw top scorer David score his sixth goal in the tournament, and secured a spot in the grand final. The final will be played this Saturday (14), at 9 am, against Corinthians.

Shortly afterward, in the early afternoon, it was the turn of the U-15 team, led by Mario Jorge, to take the field. Their opponent was again Bahia. Flamengo took a 2-0 lead in the first half, with goals from Petterson and Victor Hugo, and also missed a penalty. In the second half, they saw the Bahia team equalize and take the decision to penalty kicks. The Rubro-Negro scored through Vitor Muller, Victor Hugo, and Dudu, saw Francisco Dyogo save two shots, and celebrated another spot in the grand final for the "Garotos do Ninho" (Nest Boys). The U-15 team will face host Retrô FC in the final, scheduled for this Saturday at 10:30 am, right after the U-13 final. Let's go, "Garotos do Ninho" (Nest Boys!)!
